Carlos Melia Argentinean born, citizen of the world, now living in New York for the last 10 years. From very young age, I was exposed to the world of luxury travel and lifestyle. Bachelor Degree in Hotel & Restarurant Management. Have worked for all ends of the travel and hostpitality industry. From my current position as a travel agent and blogger, to a successful background in working for restaurants, hotels, airlines, cruises among a few others.

I am a full-service luxury bespoke Travel Agent, Travel Blogger, Concierge, Hospitality Consultant and Wedding Planner. As part of VIRTUOSO, the leading network of global luxury travel consultants, I have direct access to exclusive suppliers, services and VIP Amenities.

Over 25 years of travel experience precede me, earning the mote of “Little Marco Polo”. Jetsetter-Bonvivant, I curate the world of Luxury Travel & Lifestyle by experience, one destination at the time.

As of February 2020, I have joined the team of ALCHEMY DMC Argentina & Chile, as their United States Sales Partner and Global LGBTQ+ Sales Partner.

Luxury, has so many interpretations. I believe, it is most authentic, when understood beyond the obvious. It all comes down to one individual’s expectations and needs. My luxury, is measured by rarity and sophistication, access to destinations, services, individuals and experiences, which go beyond the mere concept of self-indulgence.

I am an independent VIRTUOSO travel advisor, IATA and IATAN certified travel agent, with over 25 years of international experience on all ends of the travel industry. Affiliated with leading travel groups, like First in Service, Tzell Travel and Travel Leaders. On the corporate side, I plan travel experiences for NBCUniversal’s VIP guests and top executives. and work with Fashion brands coordinating their corporate travels, as well planning fashion shows, showrooms and special events around the world.

On the leisure segment, I have a large portfolio of affluent clients from New York, and Silicon Valley, planning personal trips for Tech, Real Estate and Hedge Fund owners, CEOs and their families and friends.

As of 2018 I have partnered with LIVunLtd Concierge & Lifestyle Management, as their expert Travel Agent - for their exclusive wide network of luxury buildings and hotels in Manhattan, as well as their travel and hospitality curator and influencer for their ongrowing social media and blog LIVELY.

I seat as a founding member of the Belmond Hotels, Trains and River Cruises LGBT Advisory Board. Company that for the last 6 years, has been the official sponsor and supporter of my site, blog and social network.

In September 2018 I was invited to join - among an exclusive group of remarkable colleagues from the United States - Russia - Switzerland - UK and Germany - to become a founding and recurrent member of the Travel Agents Luxury Advisory Board for Bürgenstock Selection - first class Swiss hospitality, to include the Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne, the Hotel Schweizerhof Berne and the Hotel Royal Savoy Lausanne.
